The project began with a significant excavation to prepare for the substantial amount of concrete needed for the foundation. We used locally sourced Erskine river rock, selecting stones based on their shapes and sizes to ensure they perfectly matched the client’s vision. We meticulously placed wall ties every 450mm and core-filling with concrete to ensure stability and longevity. The stone layers were carefully arranged, maintaining the natural, weathered look of the exterior.

The gabion baskets, filled and secured at the project’s culmination, were a testament to our precision and planning. They ensured each stone was locked into place and the structures were stable.
